ALIB provides several important MIDI functions simultaneously

System Exclusive (SysEx) editor/librarian, event processor, and input monitor. I wanted to be able to send and receive SysEx to all my synths, as well as providing patch audition features and patch editing for some synths. My Korg T2 is a fabulous master controller, allowing me to send notes, program changes, etc. on several MIDI channels; however, I wanted my other less-capable MIDI controllers to be able to do this too. Often, I need to troubleshoot my setup, and find that a simple MIDI input monitor works well. I could have purchased separate programs to perform all these functions, but I would much rather have all of these features in a single program. Currently, it is truly customized for my own personal setup.
